1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TDD Software LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") concerning your access to and use of the Locus platform and services (the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Locus is an AI-powered personal analytics platform that allows users to:

  • Connect and aggregate data from various third-party services (fitness apps, calendars, health trackers)
  • Store and organize personal data in a unified, queryable format
  • Query personal data through AI assistants using the Model Context Protocol (MCP)

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years of age
  • Register for an account with accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
  • Use the Service to transmit malware or other harmful code
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use automated means to access the Service without our permission
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service

5. Third-Party Integrations

The Service allows you to connect third-party services (such as Garmin, Strava, and Google Calendar). By connecting these services:

  • You authorize us to access and store data from these services as described in our Privacy Policy
  • You agree to comply with the terms of service of each connected third-party service
  • You acknowledge that we are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or functionality of third-party services

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by TDD Software LLC and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your data remains your property. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled or emergency maintenance
  • Technical issues or outages
  • Third-party service disruptions
  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TDD SOFTWARE LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your access to or use of (or inability to use) the Service
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your data

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TDD Software LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature (when available). Upon termination, your data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
